Littlestoke is farmed by HBH which is Guy Hildred and his team. One of his team members is one of the most brilliant country men I have ever met, George Davis, followed by Paul Stephens. Between these two men they observe so much about systems of production.
Guy runs a very productive agri business and conventional farming system. The production of arable is efficiently carried out using very up to date equipment and advice. He farms many other farms at the same time and harvests to fit into a rota. Guy has a mixed beef herd which grazes the river meadows through summer months.
Littlestoke is home to “green and gorgeous”. A horticulture business which grows high quality cut flowers for weddings. Based on 6 acres of loam the gardens are open to visitors once a year and off er courses on a wide range of
horticultural skills. Some organic vegetables, and eggs are reared within the garden and sold on site. www.greenandgorgeous.co.uk
